Larry Smith, Prattville, (Ala.)
Smith passed for 2,005 yards with 18 touchdowns and only two interceptions during his junior season. He was named Autauga County Player of the Year, All-Metro, All-County, 6A Honorable Mention All-State, and he participated in the Alabama Junior All-Star game. Smith holds a scholarship offer from Louisville.
Zach Smith, Susan Moore, Blountsville, (Ala.)
Smith has started for the varsity since his ninth grade season. He has passed for approximately 6,000 career yards going into his senior season. He was named MVP of the Alabama Junior All-Star Game in December 2005.
Roosevelt Byrd, Foley, (Ala.)
Byrd threw for over 3,000 yards with 25 touchdowns during his junior season. He was named the South team’s MVP in the Junior All-Star game completing 7-15 passes for 159 yards and one touchdown.
Ross Wilson, Hoover, (Ala.)
Wilson, brother of Alabama’s starting quarterback in 2006 John Parker Wilson, has a established himself as a high-profile recruit as well. For his junior season, he passed for 2,950 yards with 31 touchdowns in Hoover's high octane offense. He helped lead the Bucs to a fourth consecutive Class 6A state championship.
Chris Lambeth, Daphne, Mobile, (Ala.)
Lambeth finished his junior campaign with 105 of 162 (65%), 1,875 yards, 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Lambeth led Daphne to a record of 13-2 as a junior starter and led the Trojans to the Alabama 6A Super 6 State Championship.
Richie Fordham, Oak Mountain, Birmingham, (Ala)
Fordham led Oak Mountain to the Semi-Finals of 6A Championship in Birmingham, Ala. in 2005. He was the Shelby County Offensive Player of the Year and plays in the toughest 6A region in Alabama. He was recognized as All-State, All-County and All-Metro. He led the team in total offense with 2,322 total yards and 20 touchdowns.
