Jackson recorded the most sacks (14) in class 4A in 2006. He also added 84 tackles. Jackson holds scholarship offers from Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
Joel Ross--Houma-Vanderbilt Catholic, (La.) 6-0, 310, 5.20
Ross recorded 62 tackles, 10 for loss, six sacks and recovered three fumbles during his junior season. He holds scholarship offers from Oklahoma and Ole Miss.

Linebackers:
Josh Chestang--Moss Point, (Miss.) 5-9.5, 196, 4.52
Chestang had an impressive junior campaign with 74 tackles, 12 sacks and five forced fumbles returning two for touchdowns. He holds scholarship offers from Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
Trent Mackey--Lafayette-Carencro, (La.) 5-9.5, 210, 4.63
Mackey was awarded All-State linebacker in 2006 and All-District for the last two years. He recorded over 160 tackles during his junior season. Mackey also plays the fullback position. He holds a scholarship offer from Tulane and a verbal from Ole Miss. He also hears from Colorado, Stanford and all the military schools.
Alan Harshaw--Leesville, (La.) 6-0, 180, 4.72
Cornerbacks:
Alonzo Lawrence--Lucedale-George County, (Miss.) 6-0, 180, 4.43
Lawrence plays several positions to keep his talent on the field. He recorded 11 touchdowns on offense with five from special teams. He added 60 tackles on defense with four interceptions. He was named an All-Coast performer along with first team All-State as a cornerback and second team as a kick-returner. Lawrence holds scholarship offers from Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
Tyler Alexander--Lafayette-Carencro, (La.) 5-10.5, 157, 4.46
Alexander was named first team All-District in 2006. His coach praises Alexander's great closing speed. He recorded four interceptions and over 40 tackles.
LaFrazier Forrest--Mobile-B.C. Rain, (Ala.) 5-9, 160, 4.47
Forrest recorded 65 tackles, four interceptions, one blocked punt and blocked two field
goal attempts in 2006. He also added 200 yards receiving and one touchdown. Forrest hears from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Illinois, Mississippi State and Southern Miss. Forrest names LSU as an overall favorite.
Safeties:
Rocky Duplessis--Belle Chasse, (La.) 5-11.5, 186, 4.50
Jonathan Conner--Geismar-Dutchtown, (La.) 6-0.5, 178, 4.50
Conner recorded 28 tackles, two interceptions and two pass break-ups in 2006 in his first year of football. Conner also runs track and is a 4.0 student.
Bobby Felder--McComb, (Miss.) 5-9.5, 182, 4.52
Felder had a solid combine performance improving his stock as he awaits his first scholarship offer. He is hearing from several schools including Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, LSU and Auburn.
