Jacobbi McDaniel, five-star defensive tackle from Madison-Madison County, (Fla.), was one of the top performers at the Scout.com combine in 2007. He gave his early commitment to Florida State, but McDaniel is eager to compete and showcase his talents as one of the best in the nation.
Jajuan Harley
McDaniel is not the only Seminole commitment participating. Jujuan Harley (Rickards), Scout.com four-star safety, Chris Thompson (Madison County), four-star running back and C.J. Mizell (Leon), four-star linebacker will join him as well. Florida State commitment Brandon Jenkins is penciled in to attend as well.
Andre Debose
Seminole High School features three players who are ranked among the Scout.com 300. Andre Dubose, four-star wide receiver, Ray Ray Armstrong, four-star weakside linebacker and Dyron Dye, four-star defensive end are expected. Teammate Jarkevis Fields, linebacker, hopes to emerge as one of the team’s top performers as well.
Mike Jones, Scout 300 safety from Orlando-Edgewater, hopes to perform at the same level as former teammate Lorenzo Edwards.
Petey Smith
Two of the best prospects in the country are Petey Smith, four-star linebacker and Ryne Giddins, four-star defensive end from Seffner-Armwood. The pair have received numerous offers from across the country. Smith is the younger brother of Auburn 2008 signee Eric Smith.
Aaron Murray
Several quarterbacks are expected including Aaron Murray (Tampa-Plant), Rob Henry (Trinity Catholic), Austin Dantin (Leon), Demarcus Davis (Auburndale), Greg Farmer (Rickards) and Luke Kenzik (Seabreeze).
James Green
Among the group of receivers expected to attend include Andre Dubose (Seminole), James Green (Leon), Patrick Barker (Nease), Matt Leighty (Nease), Deontae McNair (North Marion) and Clifford Stokes (Rickards). Dubose has received several offers including the Big three in Florida. Green has received an offer from Central Florida.
Chris Thompson
Several running backs will venture to Jacksonville with the headliner as Florida State commitment Chris Thompson (Madison County). Others include Trent Richardson (Escambia), Steve Barnett (Bolles), Cory Atkins (Madison County) and Bradley Battles (Marianna).
Trent Richardson
Richardson holds offers from Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Purdue. Atkins has offers from Florida Atlantic, Florida International and Indiana. Battles has picked up offers from Kentucky and Northern Illinois.
Denzel Bonner
The offensive line will feature Denzel Bonner (Godby), Andrew Carter (Leon), David Harding (Boone) and Jordan Carroll (Madison County). They will look to match up against a very talented defensive line unit.
John Gallagher
The defensive line will posses five-star Jacobbi McDaniel (Madison County), four-star Ryne Giddins (Armwood) and four-star Brandon Jenkins (Florida University School). Frank Souza and John Gallagher (Nease). Gallagher is a Wake Forest commitment. Denzel Drone, (Plant City), has received early offers from Auburn and Kentucky.
Willie Ferrell
The linebackers are led by Ray Ray Armstrong (Seminole), Petey Smith (Armwood), C.J. Mizell (Leon) and Willie Ferrell (Florida A&M). A few other top linebackers are Cody Ledford (North Florida Christian), LaRoyal Beard (North Marion) and Larry Reed (East Gadsden).
Greg Reid
A lot of eyes will focus on Florida State commitment Jujuan Harley (Rickards) in the secondary, but cornerback Greg Reid (Valdosta, Ga.) is eager to showcase his skills as a Florida Gator commitment.
Gerald Demps
Reid’s teammate, Gerald Demps, is another safety who has collected early offers from Auburn and Florida State. Other top defensive backs include Corey Addison (Andrew Jackson), Jonathan Scott (Seabreeze), Austin Williams (First Coast) and Jordan Fulford (North Marion).
