Over 100 prospects from Northern and Central California and the Pacific Northwest will be at the Oakland Raiders Practice Facility in Alameda for the final stop on the West Coast of the UnderArmour/Scout.com Combine tour. Here is a look at some of the players expected on Saturday...

The Under Armour/Scout.com Combine will return to the Bay Area this weekend, this time stopping in Oakland at the Raiders Practice Facility. It will be the final stop on the West Coast this year and there should be some solid talent from Northern and Central California on hand.

Headlining the offensive side of the ball is Austyn Carta-Samuels from San Jose Bellarmine Prep. Named First Team All-Combine in Los Angeles two weeks ago, Carta-Samuels is the top uncommitted quarterback in the Bay Area and his stock is as hot right now as any players out west. Fresh off a whirlwind trip to the Midwest, where he received an offer from Purdue, Carta-Samuels will throw on Saturday before heading on another round of unofficial trips.

Other quarterbacks we’re looking forward to seeing include David Fales from Salinas Palma, Michael Leonard from Carlsbad, Mason Magelby from Loomis Del Oro and Tyler Reis from Hanford. From the underclass ranks, Turner Baty from nearby Menlo-Atherton and Colby Kirkegaard from Arcadia (Ariz.) are two names to watch.

A handful of solid running backs will be in the mix, including Jontell Reedom from Tulare Union, one of the leading rushers in the state last year as a junior. Joining him will be a duo from the Valley which includes Brant Botill from Corcoran, Brian Easter from Central HS in Fresno.

Other NorCal natives in the backfield include Joe Durant from De La Salle in Concord, Allen Chapman from San Jose Oak Grove, Marcus McDaniel from Sacramento Christian Brothers and Brooke Brooks from Elk Grove.

At receiver, Rolando Jefferson from Fresno Edison is expected to participate after missing in L.A. because of a prior engagement. He’s one of the elite receivers nationally. Also bound for Oakland is James Orth from Modesto Central Catholic, who picked up his first offer this week, James White from Sacramento Kennedy and Jake Peterson from Bakersfield Christian.

The tight ends will be led by Denzel Pruitt from Sacramento, D.J. Maciel from Hanford and 2010 prospect Asante Cleveland from Sacramento Christian Brothers.

Up front, Nicholas Souza from Nevada Union, Cody Colwell from Pittsburg and Zach DeCremer from Wilcox lead the field.

The strength of the combine, though, is on the defensive side of the ball, and a strong group of linebackers.

The top names at backer are Shayne Skov, a commit to Stanford, who’s the top player in New York, but a Bay Area native, Kevin Greene from San Francisco Sacred Heart Cathedral, all-state underclass pick Travis Johnson from The King’s Academy, Los Angeles all-combine selection Daniel Cox from Sacramento Christian Brothers and Esparto’s Sam Foster.

Up front, Nico Lautmann from San Jose Bellarmine Prep, Pablo Ryan from Fairfield Vanden and Foloi Vae from Pittsburgh mark the docket.

In the secondary, DB coach Don Cox will get the top defensive back in the Northern part of the state in San Jose Oak Grove’s Jabari Carr, another all-state underclass selection. Joining him is a very good group of DBs that also boasts Blair Wishom from defending state champion Concord De La Salle, Marte Sears from Fresno McClane, Eric Pinkins and Rashad Adams from Sacramento Inderkum, Ketwaun Frank from Elk Grove, C.J. Anderson from Vallejo Bethel and Russell Perkins from Menlo-Atherton.

Scout.com will provide plenty of coverage from the combine, including recaps, results, all-combine teams and photo galleries.
