With some of the region's top players to choose from, the All-Combine Team wasn't an easy thing to select. However, the players listed below stood out slightly above the rest of the pack and should be honored for their efforts.
QB
Munchie Legaux
Erased all doubts on whether he can play QB at the next level.
RB
Kenny Hilliard
Didn’t WOW with his times, but he excelled in position drills.
RB
Efferem Reed
Showed that Dutchtown has another good RB to take over for Eddie Lacey.
WR
Trovon Reed
Although he didn’t take part in all the drills, showed why he is so highly rated.
WR
Jarvis Landry
Slowed by a hamstring but was still unstoppable in one-on-ones .
WR
Antonio Hebert
On a slow surface, ran a 4.39 on laser…..That’s flying.
OL
Andre Huval
Size was a question mark, but he plays low and has strong hands.
OL
La’el Collins
Collins was the top O-linemen and he’s only a sophomore.
OL
Ashton Duhe
There weren’t many guys that matched Duhe’s fiery attitude.
OL
Charles Barkins
Collins was the top OL in attendance, but Barkins wasn’t far behind.
OL
Audonnis Madison
May have to move inside, but he has a future at the next level.
DL
Houston Bates
Overall MVP….Enough said.
DL
Carlton Martin
Was a force in one-on-ones and helped his stock.
DL
Calvin Ursin
Those who overlook because of height are making a big mistake.
DL
Risean Broussard
He may have entered the combine under the radar, but he isn’t now.
DL
Anthony Johnson
Another example of how strong Louisiana will be in 2011.
LB
Chris Bermond
4.63 forty was one of the best of the day.
LB
Seth Ancar
The only question with Ancar is LB or S?
LB
Taurice King
Easy to see why King has his offers with his size and speed.
DB
Todd Washington
One of the few guys who matched up well with the WR’s.
DB
Urell Johnson
Big hitter, but still impressed with his agility and ball skills.
DB
Andre Hal
Has the best combination of size, speed and agility of all the DBs.
