| As a senior, Rodgers completed 110 of 190 attempts for 1,565 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also rushed for 161 yards on 77 carries. He was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22" team. He was named to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review "Terrific 25" team. Rodgers was named first team All-Conference by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
As a junior, Rodgers completed 153 of 267 passes for 2,060 yards and 20 touchdowns. Rodgers also ran for seven scores.
