| Nasty...plain and simple, Jacobson gives a new meaning to the word Grit. He is one of the quickest linemen off the snap that you will see. He always stays nice and low and gets leverage on defensive lineman and drives them where ever he wants. Outstanding on pulling plays and pass blocking. |

| As a junior, Jacobson tallied 130 pancakes and was selected as a U.S. Army All-American. He was named first team Class AAA All-State by the Associated-Press. He was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22" team. He was named first team All-Conference by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Jacobson was also named to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review "Terrific 25" team.
As a junior, Jacobson a team captain earned First Team All-Conference honors on offense and defense. He was also selected as the team MVP.
Jacobson had 122 pancake blocks and allowed no sacks on offense. Defensively, he tallied 47 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and he forced 3 fumbles.
Coaches Comment: "Lumpy" is the toughest kid I have coached. He explodes after who ever he blocks on every play, game, or practice and never takes a play off. he truly enjoys playing the game and thrives on punishment.
