| Capped off a stellar high school career by leading Prattville to the 6A state championship in 2006. Finished his career 36-2 as a starter with over 5,500 yards passing and 50 touchdowns, and won the Alabama Mr. Football award as the top high school player in the state.
"You don't get a guy like him very often," says Prattville Coach Bill Clark. "He's going to go and be successful as a player, a student, whatever he does. He has been everything we had hoped for and more."

Passing: 181-of-296, 2,468 yards, 22 touchdowns, 2 interceptions.
Rushing: 118 carries, 648 yards, 5 touchdowns.

Passing: 1,164 yards, 12 touchdowns.
Team record as starter: 10-1, state runners-up.
Smith's proudest accomplishment was the highest GPA for Juniors on the team with a 3.8. |
