| As a senior, Persa earned first team Class AAAA Associated Press All-State honors. He was named the Class AAAA Player of the Year. He was named to the Harrisburg Patriot-News "Platinum 33" team.
Persa earned All-Area and All-Conference honors and was named Player of the Year. he completed 122 of 181 passes for 1,826 yards, 25 touchdowns and only four interceptions. The dual-purpose threat rushed for 775 yards and eight touchdowns on 101 carries.
Was first Pennsylvania HS player to rush for over 1,000 yards and pass for over 2,000 yards in a single season. Finished with 5,779 yards passing [402 of 669], 59 passing TDs, 2,526 rushing yards and 32 rush TDs.
Also plays a little defense in Long Yardage situations for the Hurricanes.
Scheduled to play in Pennsylvania's Big 33 game against Ohio Allstars. |
