| Rommel brings adequate size to the quarterback position and is athletic enough to buy himself time in the pocket or pick up a few yards with his feet. He will take chances. He looks to have a gunslinger mentality and will force passes into coverage on occasion because of what seems to be a confidence in his own arm strength. He throws relatively well on the run. He makes poor decisions at times like all gunslinger types do. |

As a junior at Henninger, Rommel threw for 2,300 yards and 22 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on his way to first team All-CNY and All-League honors as well as third team All-State recognition.
As a sophomore, Rommel threw for 1,400 yards, 13 touchdowns and three interceptions. Rommel earned second team All-League and honorable mention All-CNY honors that season. |
