| Bateman has good hands and quickness and does a great job of making the first defender miss after he makes a grab. He has more wiggle than power. Bateman does a nice job of making the catch with tight coverage on him. He shows toughness in going over the middle. Bateman can also get behind the secondary or make something big happen off a short reception. He shows good concentration and excellent body control when he has to leave his feet. |

| An all-City Section First Team pick in 2006, Bateman had 46 receptions for 836 yards and nine touchdowns during his junior year for Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw.
Was named MVP of the B2G Elite Football Program in June of 2006.
