| He has the frame to add weight and brings good open field speed to the table. He is effective off the edge against both the run and the pass and closes quickly on the ball. As a pass rusher, he is elusive and does an average job using his hands to shed blockers. His range and instincts are some of his better qualities as he always seems to be around the ball. In coverage, his hips do seem a bit stiff at times and his ability to change direction. |

| As a junior, Blake made 90 tackles, 13 coming for a loss, had 12 sacks and intercepted two passes, earning All-Conference honors at linebacker.
