Staten set a New York state record as a junior with 18 receptions in one game.
As a senior, Staten finished with 49 catches for 880 yards and 10 touchdowns. On defense, he made 25 tackles, two interceptions, forced two fumbles and recovered two more. He played eight games as a senior. |
