| As a quarterback Johnson is very raw, but has talent to work with. He looks to have above average arm strength, throwing an accurate deep ball consistently and getting great velocity on a number of his passes. On short and intermediate routes Johnson’s accuracy and touch are both a bit in question which isn’t surprising as he isn’t a mechanically sound quarterback. As a senior, Johnson completed 70 of his 162 passes for 1380 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 137 yards and intercepted three passes from his safety position.
As a junior, Johnson threw for 1047 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also added four rushing touchdowns. |
