| As a corner he has good speed and quickness. Dye can turn with the receiver and has good hips. He has a good burst and breaks on the ball well. When beaten he shows good recovery speed. Dye is tough in run support and looks like a good tackler and at times a big hitter. |
| Biography: |
| Anthony Dye recorded 90 tackles, a sack and four interceptions, one which he returned for a touchdown during his 2006 junior year at Corona (Calif.) Santiago. Had 18 tackles against top-ranked Corona Centennial. Also played hockey growing up, participating in several world hockey tournaments.
Senior season (9-5) stats: 161 tackles and one interception. 796 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns in five games.
Dye: "I've been told I have good football IQ. I have great awareness and instincts. I’m not sure if there's one major weakness I have. I guess I'll have to talk about that with (UCLA) coach (Dwayne) Walker, but I just want to get better overall."
Dye reports a 2.8 core GPA and says he's still waiting on his results from the Nov. 3 SAT. "I should have had them by now," he said. "I'm not sure what's going on."
