| Shaw is a leader on the football field and he is a true general under center. He does not have the ideal size of a quarterback and he can improve his arm strength, but he does a lot of things well. He is an accurate passer with good mobility. He keeps plays alive with his legs and does a good job of keeping his eyes down field. He is a good fit for a spread offense. - South Recruiting Manager |

| Shaw had 1,200 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns for 2007, his sophomore season. He plays quarterback and wide receiver. Shaw passed for 2,200 yards and 22 touchdowns and rushed for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns his junior season. |
