| Biography: |
| Oday Aboushi racked up 81 tackles, recorded seven sacks, and had three forced fumbles and two fumbles recovered during his junior campaign. Oday also earned the MVP award for the best defensive lineman at the Chuck Mound Football Challenge held at Giants Stadium on March 16, 2008. He benches 300-pounds, squats 450 and has a 27-inch vertical jump.
Final senior (6-4) stats: 70 tackles and six sacks.
Aboushi plans to major in business management and reports a 3.4 core GPA and a 1000 SAT. He plans on taking the ACT this fall.
Aboushi: "I'm really flexible and have great footwork. I have good hands and technique too. I'm a tough and nasty player on the field, but off it I’m probably one of the nicest guys you'll meet."
Aboushi says he's being recruited for both offense and defense, but says he prefers defense. "I like defensive tackle more. Defensive tackle is more about chasing and about combat and that's what I like. I love hitting and there's nothing better than getting a sack."
